Your home and your things are safe with our £50,000 guarantee .
You can swap homes with total peace of mind

We cover your home up to £50,000 in theft and damage
While theft or damage is extremely rare, here’s what happens if it does happen:
- Minor issues—like a broken glass or missing silverware—will be covered with your guests' £300 deposit.
- In the rare case of something bigger than £300 issue, you're covered with an additional £50,000 theft and damage guarantee. You likely won't need it—but it's here if you do.
And we'll support you at every step. Yes, even the smallest claim. (And, yes, even for just a broken glass.)

You have full control over who stays in your home
You can meet the families you’re considering hosting over a video or phone call. That way you can see and hear them—and decide whether you align with your values. You’ll see that they’re not so scary after all, often with the same hesitations (especially true for first-time travellers).
After the call, you make your decision—there’s no pressure to host if you don’t want to.

Your home, your rules
We’ll provide the swapping Code of Conduct and you’ll provide your Home Rules (Kosher kitchen, no shoes, etc.) so that everyone is informed on how to behave during a swap, to respect boundaries and to be wonderful hosts and guests.

All members are professionally screened and background-checked
Our Keybento team—along with our trusted third-party provider—vet every member. We verify official names, emails, phone numbers, home addresses and any history of theft or damage in other rental platforms, like Airbnbs and hotels. And we run a check at every booking.

You’re part of a closed community
Everyone in the Keybento community is personally invested and eventually open to sharing their home. Every community member lists their home on Keybento. (Even if they feel a little nervous when they join.)

You'll see member ratings and reviews
Just like on Airbnb, there is a review system. You can read a family's reviews before swapping with them. And you'll both review each other after your swaps.

“Having ‘strangers’ in our house isn’t much trouble or a mental concern anymore. It was the first time we hosted, but now it’s easy and super nice. Especially when you get home to a nice handwritten note message or we get to spend some time with the people we hosted. There was never anything to be afraid of.”
